Colors of Summer 2013
With summer just a few weeks away, I would have to say I am most excited for all of the color that is about to hit the streets! With the warm sun beating down in the afternoons, and the cool nights out with dear friends, I can't wait to see (and wear) every bright color possible.

May First
Happy May Day all! I designed these little May Day cards in honor of what is arguably, my favorite month. Not only is it my birthday month, but it's also the month where the weather starts to truly turn beautiful. Everything is in full bloom, the sun is shining bright and summer break is right around the corner. So, dig out those spring dresses and sandals from the depths of your closet and go out and get some sun! Enjoy the weather :)

Bridal Shower: Graphic Work
As my sister's spring bridal shower nears (two more weeks!), I am rushing to get the odds and ends pulled together. One of my responsibilities as maid of honor has been planning the shower (although my amazing mother has done most of the planning since I am still in school and have an internship). I have been able to do most of the graphic work for her spring bridal shower though, and here is a small preview of the most recent work, enjoy!

Graphic Lettering
I absolutely love when large graphic letters (or words, of course) are brought into a design. It adds such a modern and fun element to every space. Not only can it be a creative branding tool, but it's also a neat way to bring interest into any space. These graphics can be found in the form of anything; tiles, wood, metal, even creating large graphics with paint and a stencil can look so innovative and fresh.

Mister Macaroon's
Although I am studying commercial interior design in school (two more months!), I also enjoy dabbling in other facets (if you will) of design. Graphic design is something I gained interest in after a design course I took my junior year. I like to think of myself as a (very) amateur graphic designer. I love when I am able to incorporate both interior and graphic design into a project. Mister Macaroon's is a project I completed this Spring. I created a hypothetical company, and designed the interior as well as the branding. Check out the final product!
